The Costa Brava is on the north coast of Catalonia, in Spain, It is one of the regions of Spain with some of the most beautiful beaches in the country and a cradle of culture, this region born artists such as Salvador Dali among others, this coast begins in the town of Blanes and goes to the border of Spain with France, It has over 200 km of coastline.
This region is very famous for the Spanish and European, attracts people year-round and summer course is the culmination, everyone wants to enjoy its wonderful beaches, and the famous and delicious Mediterranean food, It is another tourist attraction of the Costa Brava region.
We live like in Barcelona, We visited this very coastline that is very close if you drive, the nearest town is Blanes and the farthest is Cadaqués, Blanes is the one who gives to go by train, the rest the best way to go is by car, We always rent a car and go there so, We find it easier.
The Costa Brava is formed by 23 cities that are:
- Castellón de Ampurias
- Castillo-Playa de Aro
- the Armentera
- The scale
- Lloret de Mar
- Puerto de la Selva
- San Pedro Pescador
- Sant Feliu de Guixols
- Santa Cristina de Aro
- Tosa Sea
Many of these cities we've visited, such as: Begur, Cadaqués, Castillo-Playa de Aro e Tosa Sea, the links you will have more information of each, the last we went was Estartit, great city to go with the kids, it even has a water park and the beach is great, for us it was good to stay there because it is cheaper than other beaches, as for example Blanes, which is our next destination on the Costa Brava, Estartit is also a good place to stay as it is the middle of the coast and from there it is easy to visit other beaches and towns.
This region for those who know it would not be a bit like the north coast of São Paulo, where the most beautiful beaches of the coast of São Paulo, the only thing different is that here the towns are very small and has several cities, but the beaches are beautiful and in the middle of mountains with forests next to the leaving even more beautiful beaches.
The Costa Brava is not a cheap place, but it's not so expensive, It has a reasonable and affordable price. If you come to Barcelona to spend many days, try in the middle of that your visit to know this beautiful part of the coast.
