In today's episode of the webseries Minute Barcelona visited the Plaza Real de Barcelona, is a public square in rectangular shape next to the La Rambla and is located in the city's Gothic Quarter. It was designed by architect Daniel Molina. Before there was a Capuchin convent of Santa Madrona, but it was demolished in 1835.
Antoni Gaudí created 2 lampposts to put in the square.
Na Plaza Real também se destaca a Fonte das Três Graças (1876), Antoine Durenne.
The square today is a meeting point for tourists visiting Barcelona, in it are several bars, restaurants, and a flamenco show house.
It is one of the main squares in Barcelona.
